Processing? Yeah! Posted by: Luke the Student

Tuesday 16th March – 2pm

Venue Rm 210

First up a long overdue thanks to everyone for turning out to the Processing workshop and then the continued interest in holding another one. As a result I have been persuaded. This Tuesday there will be another chance to indulge in the brilliance that is monospaced code. Whilst the previous session was an introduction into Processing specifically, this session will focus around some of the programming principles that are essential in creating more complicated applications. Luckily these are universal and once you’ve got an understanding of the logic you can work across Javascript, C++, PHP, Processing & Arduino.

So there is a bit more theory in this lesson, but it is still crucial to bring your own laptop with Processing installed as this will allow us to explore working code snippets. It’s just more interesting that way.

There is no room confirmed as yet, though I will endeavour to get this posted by Monday afternoon. As before if you are interested then just put a comment on this post.

NOTE If you missed the first session but want to come along and get caught up then do not dispair! For we have successfully captured and trained an additional number of people who will be able to offer assistance should you require it. Please let me know ahead of time so I can be aware of numbers. Cheers

Screen can be picked up or order one if you missed out before. Posted by: Rose

Hollie in the shop says….

I’ll be taking orders and payments up until Friday 12/3/10 at 3PM! I’m sure this will be the last chance to get a screen so any orders after this time won’t be accepted!

The screens from the previous order are now in, and the new ones should be in by Tuesday/Wednesday next week.

The price is £29.30 each.
